Asmir Begovic proved a big hit last night at the London Sporting Club in the City as members enjoyed an evening in his fascinating company.
The current Bournemouth star and former Portsmouth, Stoke and Chelsea goalkeeper spoke about his family's troubles fleeing war-torn Bosnia for first Germany and then Canada before he joined Portsmouth to begin a stellar career that saw him score a goal against Southampton - still the world record longest goal - and win a Premier League title with Chelsea. The LSC member also talked passionately about his own Asmir Begovic Foundation and fellow members raised money on the what proved to be another memorable night.
